GERMINATE

Seeds should be gently pressed into the growing medium, covered lightly with soil, or left uncovered.

Carnivorous plants germinate with bright light

The soil should be kept moist at all times (bottom watering is best), using only boiled or distilled water.

It takes four to eight to germinate carnivorous seeds on damp sphagnum moss wrapped in a zipped plastic bag and kept in the fridge.

Nothing come out from the previous attempt 16 days (2weeks+) ago.  Hence I added in some seeds from another supplier today.  Hopefully, it works.

Put in some Venus Flytrap Seeds today.
Store them into the wine chiller at 18°C.

Keeping the seeds in the fridge can keep for a few years.

For Germination:
Keep the temperature at 24°C  or
75°F for optimal germination.

CARNIVOROUS  seeds will germinate within four to eight weeks, depending on temperature.

As soon as you see signs of germination, make sure the seedlings are getting lots of bright sunlight. Place them brightly lit windowsill or grow them under strong fluorescent lights.

Within a few months,  they may be growing up to 1/8-inch in diameter.  Typically flytraps will be only 1/4 to 1/2 inch tall at the end of their first year. They will reach flowering maturity by their third season.
