The soil in this pot originally keeps growing out with plenty of weeds.
I used some eggshells to cover up the whole surface for a few days and all weeds could not survive.
Now I have a bit less job pulling out the weeds.
Planted these about three weeks ago.

Move over the 18 months Chili plant from the big tub into this smaller blue pot, to join with the other 18 months and 12 months plants together. Built the small fencing with the sticks so to have better support and alignment. Like to see them strand straight in a line.
These 3 are the tallest right now. The rest are all newly grown.
So, can keep the big tub for taller plants. Really feel the scarcity of space.

Always flip over the leaves and check regularly, trim off the infected leaves.
If they are badly infected, they will need to be sprayed with pesticides or fungicides.
I usually wash them off with a bowl of water.

Cover the base on the tub with the firm and hard Giants' transparent plastic eggs tray cover. This is to cover up those big holes at the bottom of the tub for :
(1) preventing the soils from leaking out through the holes at the bottom,
(2) preventing the water from running out too fast, helping a bit in the water retention during hot warm weather, and
(3) preventing the growth of roots from running out through the holes in the future.
I like to put a cotton wool knitting thread into the soil, so it will pull up water to prevent the plant from dehydration. It keeps the soil moisture for a longer time.
Add in more new soil "veggie gold", my preference.
Add in some "vermicast".
This plant is too tall so I trim off one stalk from the top and try to re-grow it somewhere else.
Okay ... pour in a lot of water and push it out to expose them to the sun and rain.
Okay. Job Done for today!
